We're Freezin' for a Reason!

Camp Sunshine is pleased to announce that the 2022 Virginia Polar Dip will be hosted in person at the Lake Anne Village Center in Reston, VA on February 5, 2022! We believe that together we can send many more children with life-threatening illnesses and their families to our one-of-a-kind retreat in Casco, Maine.

With the strength of an event such as the 2022 Virginia Polar Dip and the resources of Camp Sunshine, it is our goal to raise in excess of $80,000.00 in 2022 and help send families from the Mid-Atlantic area (including VA/MD/DC/DE/PA/WV/NC) to Camp Sunshine.

All participants who raise at least $100 will receive a highly coveted "I DID IT" event t-shirt!

Too scared or too smart to take the plunge? There’s the option to participate in the “Chicken Dip” – where you’ll only need to dip your toes in! 

NEW PARTICIPATION OPPORTUNITY: You can now sign up to participate in the polar dip virtually at a date, time and location of your choosing! If you are over the age of 18 and would like to sign up, please click the “Register” button and follow the prompts.
