What does it cost to register?

The registration fee is $30 to participate. You will receive a commemorative SEALs for Sunshine Challenge coin by mail (along with any fundraising incentives you earn) after the event.

What are the fundraising incentives for this event?

Everyone who raises at least $150 will receive an event t-shirt, and everyone who raises at least $300 will receive their choice of a t-shirt or sweatshirt.

Who are the Special Operations Team Captains?

The four Special Operations Team Captains are three former Navy SEALs and one US Coast Guardsman who have all participated in this event and supported Camp Sunshine for many years. Check out their bios for more information: link to bios

Will I have contact with my Special Operations Team Captain before the event?

Yes! You will be invited to join an optional virtual “operations” team meeting prior to the event.

Although there won’t be a lot of contact with your Special Operations Team Captain prior to the event, these Special Operations Teams have been designed to give participants a sense of comradery by being aligned with a veteran who has supported this event for many years.

I want to form my own team for this event – can I still do that?

Yes! You can still create and name your own team for this year’s event, but Camp Sunshine will then place your team membersunder the umbrella of one of the four Special Operations Team Captains (for moral support).

Does the TXRH match count towards my fundraising incentives?

Although the TXRH match will double contributions up to $25,000, the match does not count towards individual fundraising incentives such as t-shirts or sweatshirts.
