I am freezin' for a reason ....
And her name is Kate Olivia Rhoades. Kate lost her battle after a sudden and unexpected relapse to leukemia on January 12, 2016. She was just 4 and a half years young. I promised her parents that I would do #RandomActsOfKateness and continue to spread awareness for childhood cancer in Kate’s memory. I’ve been a long time advocate for childhood cancer research; when Kate was diagnosed, it kicked me in the gut. When it took her, it took a part of me. I’ve been jumping for Kate since 2015 and will jump again on Sat Feb 1st. I would like to beat my fundraising goal of $1500. You can join my team and jump with me or you can donate instead of jumping :) The Virginia Polar Dip raiseses money to send local children battling critical illness for a week of respite to Camp Sunshine. The families don’t pay to attend and it has changed the lives of many who have been blessed with attending. Please support my jump with a donation —no amount is too small.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
