Since 2007, Salon Khouri has been holding various fundraising events (http://www.salonkhouri.com/community.html) to raise money and awareness for childhood cancer. But, nothing quite as crazy as jumping into ICE COLD WATER. However, we will do just about anything for these kiddos, so, here we go!

All money goes to support Camp Sunshine. Camp Sunshine provides respite, support, joy, and hope to children with life-threatening illnesses and their immediate families from around the world through the various stages of their journeys. The year-round program is free of charge to all families, and includes 24-hour onsite medical and psychosocial support. Camp Sunshine also provides bereavement sessions for families who have lost a child to supported illnesses.

With the strength of an event such as the Virginia Polar Dip and the resources of Camp Sunshine, it is our goal to raise in excess of $80,000.00 in 2022 to help send 50 families from the Mid-Atlantic area (including VA/MD/DC/DE/PA/WV/NC) to attend Camp Sunshine.
