We are team "Happy Little Man", named for our son, Philip, who was diagnosed with a brain tumor five years ago. Following Philip's diagnosis, we discoved the Dylan Connelly Memorial "Bravehearts" Ride & Family Day, a charity event whose mission is to support people and their families facing health care crises. Having experienced a life-threatening diagnosis for our son, this cause felt near and dear to our hearts. This has become one of our favorite annual events, due to the great people and sense of community, the family fun day at fruitlands and the awesome scenic bike ride around Harvard, MA! 

Luckily, Children's hospital and Dana Farber Cancer Institute have provided excellent care for Philip and at age six he's doing great, with yearly check-ups. We feel incredibly lucky on this journey and recognize that other families are dealing with so much more. That is why it is our team goal to raise $3000 for Camp Sunshine, a phenomenal camp in Casco, Maine that hosts children with life-threaten illnesses and their families for week-long stays.
