Supporting the Bravehearts - Thank you!
Thank you for supporting the Bravehearts Ride & Family Day!
In July 2013, a longtime family friend, Dylan Connelly, passed away from a brain tumor, not long after his 30th birthday. The week prior, family and friends gathered from all over to bike ride (one of Dylan's favorite hobbies), listen to great music, and support one another and Dylan's family. It's incredible to see how much this day, and the Bravehearts organization has grown since. I'm lucky to be part of the Bravehearts organization, dedicated to honoring Dylan's legacy and celebrating the values Dylan exemplified.
All proceeds from the event go to Camp Sunshine, a unique retreat on Sebago Lake in Casco, Maine for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. This year, it's my goal to raise $500 for Camp Sunshine, 100% of your donation will go to Camp Sunshine. For more information about their organization, please visit: www.campsunshine.org.
As my mom said, the Bravehearts day is, "A celebration of being alive. Of riding a bike. Dancing to the music. Supporting the cause. Enjoying the view. Sharing delicious food. A quiet moment. A good cry. A big hug. A cold beer. My family will be there this year, fiercely celebrating being alive and we’d love for you and yours to be right there celebrating with us."
Thank you for your support! No donation is too small. I hope to see you at Fruitlands on July 13!
